Of course, we're not talking about just any man.
We're talking about Jesus.

Why do you need to know Him?
The Bible our authority on the subject says:
1. Romans 3:23...For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
Romans 3:10... As it is written, There is none righteous,no, not one:
2. Romans 6:23... For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternally life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
3. Romans 5:8... But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
4. Romans 10:13... For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
5. Romans 10:9-10... If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Accepting Jesus as Lord and savior is as simple as:
A...Admitting you're a sinner in need of a savior.
B...Believe that Jesus; died for your sins, rose from the grave, and now is alive.
C...Confess that Jesus is Lord to others.
