Our Cause
Arena of Faith has been called and set in motion by the Holy Spirit of God to manifest within the city of Evansville the Glory of God. We want to reach hurting people for Jesus and tell them that God loves them. We believe that Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Therefore, we want to bear witness of God's complete plan of salvation to this community. God's plan of salvation is more than deliverance from hell, but includes fellowship with his Son Jesus; His power to heal; His power to deliver and prosper His people that they may live a holy and victorious life "IN EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN." Thus, we teach the Word of God in it's fullness that we may be a praise in the earth to the Glory of God by walking richly in His Word and of His blessings.

Arena of Faith History
Our services began in the home of Sister Willie Jean Wilson, who resided at 511 Linwood, Evansville Indiana. Brother Earl Carter, a native of Kentucky, was invited to come and share the word with Sister Wilson who was a shut in at that time. Three people were in attendance, they were Sister Wilson, Sister Ada Belle, and Brother Carter, By the winter of 1986, we were meeting every weekend. Within a few months our increased attendance forced us to move from having house services to meeting in the Agoga Church in Evansville, Soon after, the Lord led us to establish a church. We then met at the C.K. Newsome Center and our name was Word of Life Church. In 1993, we moved to our present location and the Arena of Faith church.
